about jeanine dargis Jeanine is a graduate of Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. She concentrated in photography, film, and media studies. She presently works at a literary agency and PR firm in Hatfield, MA where she spends her days doing a little bit of everything. She's learning how small businesses work and she loves it. Jeanine also does freelance graphic design and photography in her spare time. One day she would love to make it a full-time gig. Her passion, as demonstrated in The Family Portrait Re-Imagined, is book design -- particularly how photographs or illustrations compliment the written word.
